Realizing that a picture is worth a thousand words, I don't think I need to say much more. I already have about 32,000 words in this post alone. Winning.
Anyway, it was really fun! Just spending time with my family was a gift in itself. I love people watching, and the fair is the perfect place to do that. Not to mention the comfort food -- chicken, rice, bread, salad, cinnamon rolls... *longing sigh* As long as you ignore the heat, crowded-ness, and smelliness, it's all good. ;)
Oh, you want to know something really exciting?! Wait for it...
I DOWNLOADED LIGHTROOM 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yayayayayayayayay.
Fountains of happiness are flowing out of my exuberant soul.
Granted, it's only the trial version, BUT STILL. I'm thinking of getting the student version once my trial runs out, and it's waaay cheaper than regular. Which is awesome. But I'm learning everything anew... I am such a noob when it comes to this program. So I'm watching lots of training videos. But I'm getting the hang of it, and I AM IN LOVE. I edited all above photos with it, and I'm just beginning! EEP. Happy day.
Thank you all for your comments... I love you all to pieces! <3 Expect more postings coming soon!
Have you gone to the fair this year? What's your favorite part of it?

I am in love with your photography, especially in this post. The animals! The ferris wheel! And ESPECIALLY that one of the carousel. Can I steal that and put it on my walls, and on my iPod, and and and...just HAVE it!?
