one hundred is a good number.

So, I almost have a hundred followers. Crazy, much? To some, that might seem like not much, but to me, it's a milestone. I've had this blog for about 3 years, starting in September 2008. Back then, I wrote as if someone was listening (nobody was, but that's okay). I remember when I got my first follower. I felt extremely special and jubilant, practically jumping up and down. Oh, silly me.

I guess I started blogging because I had something to say to the world, and I wanted to put it down in writing. I started it because I wanted to inspire people & share about God's love. As of now, it's morphed into more of a personal blog, an outlet for my photographic and literary creativity.

I love it.

I love the community and the people. I've seriously made some good, sweet friends on here that I never would've known. I love the support. I love the fact that I can just go and say what's on my mind, and that people are there to listen. I love to create memories that I can look back on with a smile.

Even though my official blogiversary was on September 13, this post is just sort of to commemorate how far I've come. I love messing around with graphic design, trying to make it look the best it can be, and being kind of obsessive about little details. (I know, there's practically a new header with every post, but I finally have designed one that I like a lot, so I think I'll keep it for a while.)

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Instagram? Such an awesome, easy, and fun way to share photos on the go. My username is dreamshadows, if any of you lovelies have one, too. :)

If you haven't been to Me-n-Ed's, you're seriously missing out. So good. Go find one. Best pizza ever.

And Yogurtland. Ohmygoodness. Limitless frozen yogurt, countless flavors, and tons of delicious toppings? Ooooh, heaven. I want some, like, now.

I've been thinking. I really want to do something to mark my 100-followers milestone. What should it be? Any ideas? Email me or leave it in the comment section! (I'm thinking a blog hop...
