When I wake up, I am simply captivated by the glorious morning light, and I simply can't resist the urge to capture the essence of such beauty.
These leafies are turning yellow! I am so excited!
^ Yes, I am an unashamed Harry Potter geek. Reading the series for the second time. Word.
Go get the pumpkin streusel muffins they now have at Costco. Now. They'll fill you with warm fuzzy feelings about fall. Plus they're just delicious.
When your breakfast looks like this, how can you not be happy? (Ignore the paper utensils, please. It's so much easier than doing dishes. Just pretend it's exquisite china.)
I can't stand this cute face. I love his concentrated expression when he practices the drums. Believe me, he's getting really good at it.
(The "stop-taking-pictures-of-me" face.)
Speaking of Kade, he confided the absolute most adorable thing to me the other day.
"I don't really want anything for my birthday, so when I blow out the candles, I'm just going to wish that everything goes well with Momma's baby."
SQUEE. That makes my big-sister heart simply melt. (His birthday is in December, not long before sissy will be born.)
And then he proceeded to tell me that he prays every night before bed. ("Except for one time when I fell asleep too fast and Papa had to carry me to bed.")
I had one of those unbearable he-is-so-precious-I-can't-stand-it moments. Nobody told him to do that, but he just feels the desire to talk to God every night. I wish I could hear his little prayers. I can't imagine how innocent and cute they must be. This is just one reason why I love him to bits and can't stand his little sweet heart.
That boy. ♥
Apple pie. With a scoop of ice cream on a crisp day. YES. My dream come true. Food is one of the best parts about autumn, I swear!

Sometimes I just like watching them in the car.
Still can't believe he's 13! Growing up into a handsome guy, if I may say so. :) ^ Yes, more Harry Potter. It runs in the family.
We went to this park to meet some of our fellow students in Connections Academy, and the light was gorgeous! We ate Subway during our little picnic.
I am so excited about baby K! I got to go see a 4-D ultrasound of her for the first time the other day, and it was absolutely incredible. She is adorable, and seeing her little body kicking and moving around in there, even making facial expressions, is something I can't begin to describe.
This tiny little life -- this precious baby -- this new personality... It's too much to comprehend. By the end of this year, there will be six of us in this family. It's been just us five for almost nine years, and now this baby girl is going to change it all. I am so excited, just so very excited. I can't wait to hold her close, stroke her soft skin, kiss her little face, calm her down, care for her, be the big sister she needs.
Oh, December, come quickly, if you can.

So, I just clicked one of the movies on my page, and I found your blog, and it kind-of-sorta made my day. You take AMAZING pictures!
Looooove all the pictures, as usual! And my gosh, that baby!! So precious. Can't wait to see pictures after she's born!
ok, girl. each picture was beautiful.
I know the feeling. You want each day to fly by. Just get there. Trust me- when you get to December, it will have seemed fast. And then it'll seem like "how'd we get here???" "what happened?"
And you'll almost want to take that time back again. almost.
And I love your new header. It seems as if with every new post, there's a new header. :) But overall, each one was pretty, but this one is lovely!
I'm so excited for you! New babies in the family are always amazing.
My bro just turned 13, too... Time flies....
Great picures! I seriously always love to read your blog :)

Oh my goodness, her little feet are adorable!
I love the sunlight in your pictures.
You should read the series backwards, it's fun :)
